Who We Are

SOL (“SOL,” “we,” “us”) operates http://www.moveforsol.com, which provides entertainment services — including music streaming — and an online store selling official SOL merchandise. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. By using this site you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Order information. When you make a purchase, we collect the information needed to fulfill your order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and details of the items you purchased.

Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment processor through WooCommerce (WooPayments). Your card details are transmitted directly to the processor over encrypted connections and are never stored on our servers.

Usage information. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard technical data when you visit — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps — via server logs and our website analytics (WordPress.com / Jetpack).

Communications. If you email us (for example about an order or a return), we keep that correspondence.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not use the information we collect for automated decision-making or profiling.

How We Use Information

To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and to send order-related emails (confirmations, shipping notices, refund updates).
To respond to your questions and handle returns and exchanges.
To operate, maintain, and improve the site and understand how it is used.
To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements).

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who need it to do their jobs on our behalf: our payment processor, shipping carriers, and our website/hosting and analytics providers (WordPress.com / Automattic, WooCommerce). These providers are bound to use your information only to provide their services.

We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect (described above) and the right to opt out of sale or sharing — though, as stated, we do not sell or share personal information. Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have equivalent rights, which we honor for all visitors.

Global Privacy Control. Because we do not sell or share personal data, there is nothing to opt out of; where required, we treat browser opt-out signals such as GPC as valid.

EU/UK visitors. We process order data as necessary to perform a contract with you, and site data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the site. You additionally have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, and correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry. Analytics data is retained per our provider’s standard schedule.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Sites

Our site links to third-party services such as Beatport, Hypeddit, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube, and social platforms. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
